Jim and Tracy Conard started NEI in 1992. Both were raised in entrepreneurial families and knew from the beginning they would be in business for themselves. Jim started as an electrician, but shortly after gaining journeyman status, he set out on his own. Tracy had managed and owned her own businesses and applied her management skills to NEI. Over the years, they added team members, purchased their own equipment, moved into electrical design, expanded their building and gave employees the opportunity to purchase shares of the business. Today, their team members help more than 1,250 businesses throughout the state.

Jim's 20-years of experience in the industry mean he can manage our teams and project to meet your needs. As a Master Electrician and a Certified Electrical Designer, Jim sets NEI's professional standards in all aspects of electrical contracting. He and our project managers work closely with field superintendents to keep your project on track, on plan and on spec.

Amy B. Vanney
Chief Financial Officer
Amy's experience in financial management and in the construction industry means you have a seasoned professional in cost control, scheduling, change orders and all elements of project management on your side. She is also our go-to person on information technology and is our resident expert on our accounting system, Maxwell Management Suite, to provide customized accounting and productivity reports to our customers.

Russ brings 25 years of experience to management and purchasing and ensures each job is executed safely for all team members, subcontractors and customers. Russ stays current on innovative safety processes and equipment and always strives for a safer workplace resulting in successive years of safety awards from industry organizations.
