Industrial Electrical Contracting Projects

Wire Tech, Sturgeon Bay, WI
Tthis project required attention to detail in order to complete a new state of the art 65,000 square feet fully modernized fabrication facility. This facility takes raw material and turns it into a finished product. Close collaboration between the owner, general contractor and subcontractors was required to achieve the high standards the owner deserved in a facility of this nature. NEI was responsible for close contact with the owner to achieve optimal Design/Build of the switchgear, general power, and interior and exterior lighting. NEI’s Low Voltage Division was responsible for the structured cabling, paging and access control systems.

Green Bay Metropolitan Sewage District Facilities Upgrade
The Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District facilities upgrades project involved taking the De Pere facility from a manned facility to an unmanned facility being controlled through a fiber optic interlink from the Green Bay Facility. The De Pere facility is now a remote operations plant fully controlled via the Green Bay Facility. The largest part of the project was replacing all existing MCC’s and furnishing new PLC’s drives and instrumentation to accomplish automation of the De Pere plant. This will cut 15 jobs in the De Pere facility and save the owner the wages of 15 employees. NEI replaced the 25kv gear and completed cable installation through existing man‐hole systems including 60 25kv terminations.

Neenah Water Treatment Plant
This project is part of a 20 million dollar expansion to the Neenah Water Treatment Facility. The term of the project was two years and consisted of a significant expansion and renovation of the existing facility. NEI's task was to install a new 4000 amp electrical service backed up by a 1250 KW generator and back feed the existing service without shutting the facility down. During the process it took careful coordination between NEI's project managers the owner and the general contractor as well subcontractors to do what needed to be done and keep the facility on line the whole time. NEI's ability to competitively estimate a project of this nature and have the skill level in the field to do the job.

City Water Treatment Plant, Green Bay, WI
The project was an ozone generating project fo rhte city's drinking water. NEI work included a high resistance ground system, monitor control centers, variable frequency drives. PLC's with remote I/O's, UPS system and associated instrumentation.

JBS Packerland, Green Bay, WI
JBS Packerland decided to build a new distribution facility hoping to save labor cost and improve product safety. They used NEI for the complete electical with everything from emergency power, phone and date wiring, to entire site lighting and conveyer system power.
