NEI: Safety Awards for Electrical Contractors
We are proud of our team members for meeting and exceeding all safety measures!
NEI received the 2007 Platinum Award of Honor for ZERO lost time injuries and recorded accidents presented by the Wisconsin chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). NEI is one of a few electrical contractors awarded a platinum level designation.
NEI recorded a spotless safety record due to a customized training program for all employees. The program consists of weekly "tool box talks" about safety, quarterly safety meetings and a safety point program in which team members who maintain clean safety records are given points to use internally. Employees can use the points to purchase NEI merchandise such as hats and shirts. In addition to personal safety, the NEI program also covers damage to tools and equipments used on the job sites. Over the past 10 years, NEI has had an average EMR of .74!
