NEI: A Women Owned Electrical Contracting Business
NEI is only one of a few electrical contractors certified as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. This certification confirms that the business is at least 57% owned, managed and controlled by a woman or women. Only a few hundred businesses in the state have been granted the designation by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.
Women-owned businesses have the opportunity to expand into government and corporate markets that recognize the value of doing business with women-owned firms. Designation as a certified business enterprise owned by a woman provides additional job/contract opportunities and counts toward Supplier Diversity Programs.
If your project is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency, NEI is also certified as a Woman Owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (WODBE) by AFF Research, an Independent Certification Company approved by the EPA.
Is your project funded by WHEDA? NEI is a part of their Emerging Business Program. You can find us on their website as an approved contractor.
