The renovation at UW-Oshkosh Clow Hall, classroom and faculty building, consisted of 140,000 square feet of complete demolition and renovation. The 20 month project included installation of a 4,160kV unit substation, power distribution including 32 miles of conduit throughout the building, a 300 kW Kohler generator for emergency power, and new lighting and Fire Alarm systems. This renovation featured (10) classrooms outfitted with state of the art interactive learning technologies, (4) nursing simulation labs complete with audio and video communication, and (2) new 150 student lecture auditoriums with integrated audio and lighting controls. Northern Electric, Inc. worked closely with the State of Wisconsin Department of Facilities Development, the Prime General Contractor The Boldt Company, and dozens of other subcontractors to complete the project on time.
