Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District – De Pere Facility Upgrade

When the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District wanted to turn their De Pere facility into a fully automated operation controlled remotely through a fiber optic interlink from the Green Bay facility, they tapped into Northern Electric’s industrial expertise. The bulk of the project was replacing all existing Motor Control Centers and furnishing new PLCs, drives and instrumentation to make the De Pere plant fully automated. Our team replaced the 25kV gear and installed 60 25kV terminations through existing manhole systems. In addition, Northern Electric continues to perform electrical maintenance on all Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District facilities.
