To achieve ABC’s STEP Diamond level, among other requirements, a company must have a total recordable incident rate at least 50 percent below specific industry averages for the two previous years, maintain an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.70, submit their official U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Forms 300 and 300A on work-related injuries and illnesses for review, and achieve a specific STEP self-evaluation score.
