Bellin Hospital

When Bellin Hospital remodeled their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to add 18 infant care rooms, a family lounge, an outdoor patio, on-call sleep rooms and offices, they relied on our team’s electrical expertise. Northern Electric added two new transfer switches for emergency power, four transformers and a total of 15 electrical panels. Innovative lighting solutions—such as DMX-controlled circadian rhythm light fixtures to mimic the color temperature of the rising and setting sun—were installed in infant care rooms. Showcasing full-service capability, our team also installed two lighting control panels, a fire alarm system, nurse call, door access control, intercom/paging and data cabling.
