The renovation at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Clow Hall was a complete large-scale demolition and renovation of the classroom and faculty facility. The 20-month project included the installation of a 4,160kV unit substation, power distribution including 32 miles of conduit throughout the building, a 300 kW Kohler generator for emergency power, plus new lighting and fire alarm systems. This renovation included 10 classrooms outfitted with state-of-the-art interactive learning technologies, four nursing simulation labs complete with audio and video communication, and two new 150-student lecture auditoriums with integrated audio and lighting controls. Northern Electric worked closely with the State of Wisconsin Department of Facilities Development, The Boldt Company and dozens of other subcontractors to complete the project on time.
